Using a continental shutter door and windows gives added security, from ordinary homes to commercial properties and public buildings.
Aluminium security shutters that deliver exceptional protection. The compact and the slim design makes them unobtrusive to the eye. They can be added onto an existing building without upsetting the general aesthetics, an ideal external or internal, security window solution.

The shutter housing is constructed from roll formed aluminium in two sections - base and box lid. With the box lid removable for installation and maintenance purposes. To comply with the supply of machinery (safety) regulations 1992, all electric 'built-on' shutters are CE Marked. The operation is by one of the following: swivel belt, geared belt, rod crank, single phase tubular motors 240v. Electrical optional extras include key switch, rocker switch, remote control, group commands.

The shutter curtain is 60mm or 38mm double skin extruded aluminium non-vented lath with lateral movement contained by nylon ends with a bottom rail and weather seal to suit. Alternatively vented or non-vented 38mm foam filled lath can be used.

Standard continental shutter curtain colours are white, beige or brown and standard guide colours are white or brown. However, each extruded shutter door can be powder coated to any BS or RAL colour you may require to compliment your specific design.
